Plant Relationship & Medicinal Preparation: Sacred Bathing with Cedar & Fir

Welcome to this class with a special focus on Sacred Bathing, Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir.

Together we settle in, break the ice and dive right into getting to know each other, Cedar and Fir.  We begin by learning the steps of plant communication through discussion, hands on observation, touching, smelling, test tasting and journaling about Cedar and Fir. We will explore the ways we are connected to plants by tapping into our intuition and imagination as we move into learning the modality of sacred bathing: an intentional bathing ritual for physical and spiritual healing.

The Second half of this class we will create intentional cedar and fir sacred bathing salts for our foot soaks and some extra to take home. I will help guide you through a sacred bathing foot soak in a warm, comfortable shared space.

Each person will get to take home simple cedar and fir medicine making recipes, extra sacred bathing salts, and a certificate for 3hrs of Herbal Education.
