Offerings
Nature’s Divine Botanica offers a wide range of herbal education opportunities taught by herbalist, ethnobotanist, mycologist and founder of NDB, Teasha McCallum.
Our plant healing retreats, workshops, plant walks and classes are held at our home-base and at exclusive destinations around the Olympic Peninsula. We are located in the Northeast neighborhood of Olympia, Washington and and are just a hop, skip and a jump from one of our special exploring spots.
We offer many different classes and workshops. In these offerings we dive deep into relationship and communication with specific plants, offer a hands on learning experience through ethical gathering, medicinal and edible plant preparation, product formulation, fungi and plant identification and foraging techniques. We teach how to restore and protect native plant habitats and to live in reciprocity with nature. We explore native, european and indigenous uses along with spiritual wisdom of the Pacific Northwest plants.

NDB offers one on one and group custom designed classes for youth k-12 and adults. One on One and Group Offerings:
We offer Foraging and Harvesting Techniques workshops where we go over ethics of harvesting, knowing when, what and how to harvest, the tools to use for different types and parts of plants you harvest- I.E. the roots, whole plants, aerial parts, flowers, buds, seeds and fruits. I provide the materials and plants for everyone to get the full hands on experience as well as an in-depth outline of the material covered in the class.
NDB offers a Herbal Plant Processing workshop where we go over all the different processing methods and techniques for storage and preparation. We learn different drying methods and how to properly label and store herbs and plants. We go over the basic needs to start your own home apothecary. Each person gets to take home their own processed and labeled jar of plant material with an in depth outline containing additional recipes and uses for the plant taken home
NDB offers Herbal Preparation workshops where we go over the process of how to formulate herbal medicine. We go over sterile techniques and the best materials used as well as learn to follow a herbal recipe. We have a long list of fun choices to choose from below. Each participant will formulate, properly label and take home their own product that they made.
